Meehan Drilling Ltd were contracted by Cuadrilla Resources to drill a conventional oil well to a depth of 1,500m. This was the first ever UK exploration site that required a waste licence permit from the Environmental agency. We were proud to be able to meet all the requirements of the permit. Due to the high-profile nature of the site there were several HSE and EA audits carried out without incident.
