Meehan Drilling successfully completed the installation of 150 metres of 3 x 355mm OD pipe and slip lined with 4 x 110mm OD pipe. We did encounter some problems due to unstable ground formation and had to trail drill pipe in order to maintain hole integrity. The drill path consisted of drilling under a very busy commercial yard and a live railway line. As a result, safety was paramount on this job. The job was completed 7 days ahead of schedule, and more importantly the job was done safely with no lost time incidents.
